Dubai is often mistaken as the capital city of the United Arab Emirates because of the fact that a lot of establishments are being built in this emirate.
This place is considered as the ‘melting pot‘ of different nationalities like the Arabs (Lebanese, Iraqi, Omani, Egyptians, etc), the Europeans (Irish, British, Scottish, etc), Asians (Indians, Pakistanis, Filipinos, Chinese, etc) and at times we do see Americans, Canadians and Australians.
‘The city that never sleeps’
During my first year here in Dubai, I really believe it IS the city that never sleeps – why? because even in the wee hours, people still stroll outside, the restaurants are still full of lights and well – the city is very much alive!
‘Second home’

I have been here in Dubai since 2003. My husband and I have considered this our second home.
I think this place has been our witness in becoming the individuals we are today – strong, committed and service-oriented.
Even if we have experienced a lot of trials in this place, I think it has been balanced by the good things that happened to us – which made us unique individuals.
